Senior Solutions is a group of classes that are
especially friendly to people 55+, but ALL ages are welcome.
Some classes have been at SPRFC for a long time like Gentle
Yoga and Arthritis Foundation Approved Aquatic Exercise Programs.
Some are new to SPRFC like Forever Young, Strength on the Go
and T'AI CHI CHIH®. Check out our Senior
Solutions bulletin board; it highlights programs ideal for seniors.
Strength on the Go is a full-body tubing
(rubber resistance) workout. Resistance that is challenging
but not "heavy". Great for travelers! Chairs are available
for support. This class will work to improve: strength, flexibility/range
of motion, balance, energy, blood pressure and weight control.
Exercise helps reduce stress and it's lots of fun!
T'AI CHI CHIH® "Joy Thru Movement"
with Debbie Cole is great for balance and relaxation. This is
a series of 20 easy-to-learn movements that strongly circulate
the chi, the life energy that flows within us. T'ai Chi Chih
can be done in a chair or standing. Gentle
Yoga, 45 minutes of Hatha yoga, great for beginners
or just to relax! Water Yoga Workshop -
come join us for a half hour of relaxing, gentle Yoga in the
pool. The water's boyancy will make movement feel more easeful,
muscles feel more supple and balance less challenging.
Forever Young is a low impact/hi energy
class, especially for the 40+ crowd. Minimum choreography, maximum
fun!

especially for Seniors is also available. All instructors and
trainers are nationally certified. |
